FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

BVBIA El Paso Borderland goal is to provide a top quality level of soccer instruction in a fun and challenging environment to the youth of the El Paso Borderland region. As part of our efforts to fulfill this goal, we strive to ensure that financial limitations are not an impediment to taking part in our programming both on and off the field of play. We recognize that playing soccer requires a financial investment, and for some families, especially those with multiple children of playing age, this commitment may cause significant strain on the family budget. We never want to lose a player solely because of financial stress. In response to this reality, and as a result of the generous support of our BVBIA El Paso Borderland parents, volunteers, and members of our community, we are in a position to provide limited monetary support and assistance for the upcoming soccer cycle via extended payment terms and/or a discount on the Club Fee.

Extended Payment Terms

Presently, you have the option to pay the annual Club Fee all at once, in 4 monthly installments, or in 6 monthly installments. For those who show financial need, BVBIA El Paso Borderland is willing to extend the monthly payment option to up to 10 equal monthly installments.

Club Fee Discount

For those who show financial need, BVBIA El Paso Borderland is willing to offer discounts on the annual Club Fee of 25% or 50%. In the most extreme circumstances, BVBIA – Borderland will consider larger discounts.

Does not Apply to Uniforms
Uniform expenses are not covered by the FAP.

Eligibility
Financial assistance is based on proven financial need and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Thus, we encourage you to apply as early as possible. Decisions regarding financial assistance will at all times remain within the sole discretion of BVBIA El Paso Borderland.

To secure consideration for financial assistance, you must register to become a BVBIA El Paso Borderland Player. At that time you will be required to pay the nonrefundable BVB IA North America Fee which is presently in the following sums:

  • 4 v 4 = $45.00
  • 7 v 7 = $60.00
  • 9 v 9 = $75.00
  • 11 v 11 = $90.00

Once paid, you will have the option to request financial assistance. Applications must be filled out online using the link below. The application will require the parent/legal guardian to provide both their last federal income tax return and most recent pay stub. All information provided in the application will be kept confidential.

Once submitted, BVBIA El Paso Borderland’s leadership team will strive to meet promptly and to provide a decision within 7 days. FAP recipients will be notified via email if they will be receiving assistance and any financial assistance received will be reflected on the Member's Account after the initial registration is paid.

Beneficiaries of BVBIA El Paso Borderland’s FAP will be asked to agree to volunteer at Club Events/Tournaments: 20 hour minimum.
