EL PASO, Texas - BVBIA's newest program in El Paso, Girls Roundup, is already making waves across the community. After just one session, the Girls Roundup program welcomed 40 girls on the pitch. Girls between the Ages of 5 and 18 have stepped onto the field at El Paso High School to sharpen their soccer skills, build confidence, and connect with other players in a fun and supportive environment.

The free program takes place every Sunday from 3:00 to 4:30 PM and has quickly become the highlight for young athletes and their families.

The sessions are led by Coach Nancy, a USSF "B" Licensed Coach and former Two-Time State Champion from Colorado, who recently relocated to El Paso. With her high-level experience and passion for player development, Coach Nancy has already made a significant impact, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere for all players of all skill levels. Coach Nancy was joined by four female coaches, giving participants a unique opportunity to learn from strong role models and further strengthening the program's mission to empower young women in soccer. With 40 players attending, the program maintained a 1:10 coach-to-player ratio, ensuring every participant received plenty of individual attention and quality instruction.

The program has also received strong support from BVBIA North America Leadership, whose presence at Girls Roundup highlights the importance of growing the women's game and commitment to building opportunities for players across the region.

"Having recently relocated from Colorado Springs to El Paso, I was thrilled with the turnout for my first official program. It was a fantastic day for BVBIA El Paso, as we hosted 40 female players, female coaches, and BVBIA leadership! The player pool consisted of an incredible group of girls. Not only did we witness undeniable talent, but the sense of female camaraderie blossomed immediately across all age groups. This was one of my top priorities upon my arrival, and it’s an aspect of the club we aim to nurture not just within our organization, but throughout the city and among other BVBIA clubs nationwide. We will continue to conduct these programs to bring the female players together," said Coach Nancy.

From first-time players learning the basics to experienced athletes fine-tuning technical and tactical awareness, the Girls Roundup program has offered something for everyone. Parents have praised the welcoming environment, while players leave each Sunday energized and eager to return.
