
EL PASO, Texas - We're excited to shine the spotlight on Coach Nancy Mankamyer, our Director of Soccer Operations here at BVBIA El Paso. With decades of experience as both a coach and educator, Nancy brings a rare combination of leadership and passion to our club; and she's already made a massive impact.
Soccer has been a pivotal journey for Nancy. Not only a 4A State Champion at Air Academy High School (2012), but she has also won a state championship as a player at at her alma mater. That rare achievement speaks volumes about her lifelong connection to the game and her ability to inspire amongst others across generations.
As a coach, Nancy has spent over 25 years building programs, being at every step; helping her former clubs excel and grow their membership under her leadership, two of which she was a founding member. Her coaching credentials include a USSF "B" License and a United States Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma, complemented by her goalkeeping and high school coaching diplomas.
Her impact has also been recognized nationally and locally with numerous honors, including:

Beyond the accolades, Nancy's coaching philosophy centers on creating a competitive, enjoyable, and supportive environment for players. She is committed to developing technical skills while prioritizing each player's social and emotional well-being. Nancy also believes in educating both players and parents to build a stronger, more unified club culture.
A proud Colorado Springs native, Nancy comes from a family steeped in sports and community service; her mother is one of the pioneers of the women's national team and their acceptance as an Olympic Sport, as well as served as President of the United States Olympic Committee. Nancy is the mother of two incredible daughters who reside in Colorado. Morgan (26) is a doctor of physical therapy and also a USSF referee and Taylor (23) is a 4th grade teacher, who also coaches a team and holds a USSF "D" license.
